Ansh Kumar

Software Engineer ·India

I build product experiences for founders, agencies, and the teams in between, from the first rough thinking to the thing people actually see and use.

These days I’m at Roboto Studio where we build content platforms for clients across the UK and India. Most of my day goes into Next.js, TypeScript, and Sanity, monorepo architecture with Turborepo, and building AI agents that make the work easier.

  • Websites from your designs

Send me your Figma file and I’ll turn it into a fast website that works on every phone, tablet and laptop.

  • Full products, start to finish

I build the whole product for you, from the app your customers use to logins, payments and the server behind it.

  • Fixing slow or messy sites

If your site is slow or hard to change, I’ll find out why and give you a clear list of what to fix first.

  • AI that saves your team time

I set up AI helpers that take repetitive tasks off your team and work inside the tools you already use.

    • The storefront scored 60 on Lighthouse. I worked through its Core Web Vitals one by one until it held above 90, and pages now load about 40% faster.
    • Payments were being handled by hand. I built the Razorpay flow in Node.js from checkout through verification to the order record, which removed 80% of that manual work and lifted successful orders by 25%.
    • Product images were slow for anyone far from the server. I moved them to S3 and put CloudFront in front on a custom domain, so they’re cached close to every visitor and load 50 to 60% faster.

    • Fees were being collected in places with patchy internet, so I built the app in SvelteKit to work offline first and sync when it can. It never went down.
    • Receipts were written up by hand. I generated them as PDFs straight from each payment, which cut the team’s workload by 70% and ended record mistakes.
    • I added bulk Excel imports that check every row before it goes in, so bad data gets caught at the door. Entry errors dropped by 60%.
    • I designed the database, wrote the edge functions and set up row level security, so every role can only see and change its own data.
    • I ran the sprints and sat in on user feedback sessions, then shipped what came out of them. Over 80% of people in every role ended up using the app.
  4. ONBOFrontend Developer InternBangalore, India2022 – 2024
    • I built ONBO’s onboarding platform in SvelteKit and TypeScript, the tool new hires use in their first weeks. They got up to speed 40% faster and training costs came down.
    • I turned the design team’s Figma files into responsive Tailwind screens and kept them almost pixel for pixel with the designs.
    • I reviewed most of the team’s pull requests and wrote down the standards we agreed on. Bugs reaching production dropped by 40%.

  • I could only describe the site I wanted. Ansh had it live in under a week, looking exactly how I imagined it, and working with him felt effortless.
